It's awesome. Great features and very powerful tools, specifically the wand tool that stores usernames/passwords. pop-up stopper is also very nice to actually be integrated into the browser, rather than having to rely on an external tool. |

With the exception of a few websites now and then. Opera is by far the fastest internet browser in the World. With the skin changing flexibility and the addition of the badly needed password want, no one can touch it. It's not based on IE nor ir it completely based on Netscape though it started with the 4.7 platform. Thumbs up for Opera. If you are a 56k Dial-Up user, Opera is a must! |

"IE? you will forget it"
Easy to import your favorites and your mails from IE/OE. This is enough to tell yourself to try because you're going to stay. All windows in one, anti-popups, mouse gestures that you will ever use!, keyboard navigation. Really easy to customize and to optimize, you will make your own Opera with your own interface, respecting YOUR way of browse. The mail client is a little bit difficult to use at beginning but you will truely understand that it is very useful and more powerful than outlook or others.... The news client is really fantastic. Don't forget security and privacy, and Opera respect them providing you a high rated browser. Easy to turn on/off: animated gifs, java, sounds, flash, proxy, plugins, cookies....! Opera works on almost all sites on the web, the only problems i meet with it are Microsoft Sites (...) that completely forbid the access to their sites (but, for most of them, you can fake IE browser authentification. Useful ^^) Please TRY IT and LOVE IT !!! |
